What is the Glock 43x?
The Glock 43x is effectively a Glock 43 with a slightly wider and taller frame to increase the grip size and capacity from 6 rounds to 10 rounds of 9mm. It is one of Glock’s two slim-line pistols introduced at the 2019 SHOT Show. The Glock 43X is intended to be a concealed carry gun.
Is the Glock 43X worth it?
The Glock 43X brings Glock to a more modern concealed carry market. It’s easy to shoot, easy to carry, and makes for a potent defensive firearm. The Glock 43X is a very competent concealed carry pistol and performs admirably as a combat pistol.
What is the difference between a Glock 43 and Glock 43X?
Really, the only difference you’re going to get is from the slightly larger and longer grip on the Glock 43X. If you add a plus-two extension to the Glock 43, it’s going to shoot very similarly to the 43X. Having that extra bit of grip for me makes a huge difference.
As a general rule, it’s a good idea to clean your gun after every trip to the shooting range. Defensive firearms that don’t get used very frequently should also be cleaned on occasion. Try to give them a deep clean and inspection about once a month
are glock 43 and 43x parts interchangeable
The slides on the Glock 43X and the Glock 43 are 100% interchangeable. You could take one slide off the gun and put it on the other. The 43X has forward-cocking serrations, while not all 43 models do. Forward-cocking serrations are definitely a plus.
